Welcome to La Belle Maison
La Belle Maison is a classic Maison de Maître overlooking the historic town of Eymoutiers. La Belle Maison was built over a century ago in 1889 and renovations began in 2014.
The house is now a charismatic chambre d’hotes, welcoming guests from all over the world who come to visit the beautiful Limousin reigon. It features two guest bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and their own views over the locale.
The house features a guest salon with free books, local guides, a wood burning stove and somewhere to relax. The garden also offers guest seating and picnic facilities, ideal for an evening glass of wine.
About Eymoutiers
Eymoutiers is a town famous for its tanning industry, which is evident today as you can still see features on the houses within the town centre that were part of the tanning process.
The Medieval town offers many activities such as weekly markets in the town square, regular social events, and seasonal fetes. There is also a number of friendly bars, cafes and shops in the town centre. Eymoutiers has a charming park next to the Vienne River, a fishing lake to go to and relax by on a summer’s day; and if you’re looking for something to do then there is an open air swimming pool and the Espace Paul Rebeyrolle centre. It also has a historic church standing tall above the rooftops of the old town which is well worth a visit. There is a train station in the centre of Eymouters, which can be seen from the house: this train line runs between Limoges & Ussel.
Eymoutiers is also a stone’s throw from Lac de Vassiviere, a picturesque lake popular for its water sports, leisure activities and art exhibitions.
